Words from the Board
The year 2012 will mark our fifth anniversary. The past five years have seen good progress, in terms of the number of projects we started, and in the timely completion of such projects.
Our common vision of a better future for Haiti and our personal commitment to that vision has insured slow but steady progress. We were able to provide the funds needed to support the education of the youth, and to provide help to those in need. All the funds we received were sent to fund projects in Abricots. Our Board members are all volunteers, and no one receives a salary. The members also assume all the administrative tasks, thus keeping our costs to less than one percent (1%) of budget.
When the earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010, the world came to the rescue in a rare show of solidarity, but the most moving expression of solidarity was when Haitians were helping Haitians.
We believe in helping and we greatly appreciate your support in teaming with us to provide such help. With your continued help we can bring hope to the children of Abricots, the Grand’Anse, Haiti.
